In the extraction process for testing or verification it can damage one or more pins of an integrated circuit. Of course, no missing pins we can not resolder the integrated circuit. One way to circumvent this problem, thereby recovering the damaged integrated circuit, is shown in Figure 1

 


 

 

What you have to do is identify the missing pins and place on the printed circuit board small pieces of common bare wire. Then we fit the integrated circuit and do the normal solder in terminals that are in good condition. The terminals that will be missing top side of the solders can be repaired usinf, with a very fine tip iron on solder the wires previously placed.
