Audio frequencies in the 300 Hz to 30 kHz range can be measured with this circuit. Transistors allow general purpose equivalents. The instrument is a milliammeter of 0 to 1 mA and the accuracy depends on the resistors used that must be tested, since the original circuit does not provide the values (depends on the instrument).
