This circuit was found in a 1986 documentation. The circuit has a common configuration with the 4017 and uses transistors to excite the LEDs. The table next to the diagram gives the circuit behavior. Power must be supplied with voltages from 5 to 12 V. Used transistors can control up to 100 mA load.
