This circuit is from a 1995 publication. The components are all common and the number of LEDs may be larger or smaller than the original circuit. Transformer T1 is output from transistor radios and the potentiometer adjusts the excitation point. The resistor R has values from 10 ohm to 220 ohm, depending on the amplifier power that can be between 100 mW and 200 W.
