We can use high value electrolytic capacitors in alternating current circuits with the configuration shown in the figure. The capacitance obtained for two associated equal capacitors will be equivalent to half the value of these capacitors. Capacitors must have a working voltage greater than the peak value of the alternating voltage at which they are intended to be used.
