The new Murata device typically generates 20,000,000 negative ions per second and 0.9 mg ozone per hour. Another device which generates only ions is the MHM305 addressed in other article in this site.

This new very compact component is powered by a voltage of 12 V and its current of consumption is typically only 50 mA, with a maximum of 130 mA.

In addition to the power inputs, in a typical circuit shown in Figure 1, the device also has a monitoring input for use with microcontrollers and control circuits, with a voltage of 1.5 V.

The MAM306 is presented in three versions which only differ in relation to the length of the connection terminals.

In Figure 1 the control circuit may be simple, for example, a timer or even more complex using the monitoring features, for example, using a microcontroller.

In Figures 2 and 3 we show how to measure the ionization and the amount of ozone generated by the device.

To generate larger amounts of ions and ozone, several devices can be connected in parallel.

On the site we have several articles that deal with the effects of environmental ionization and ozonation on health and the environment.
