N° of component

1,2 to 1,4 V Power Supply (MSB004E)

Common diodes when forward biased present a voltage fall of about 0.6 to 0.7 V. This voltage fall can be used as a zener voltage in a simple power supply as the one simulated bellow. This low power supply can source currents up to 50 mA. The transformer can have secondary winding from 6 to 12 V and a current rate between 50 and 200 mA. The capacitor can have values in the range between 220 µF and 1 000 µF. See the voltage indication in the multimeter in the simulation.
