    With the micro voltage regulator shown in the figure, we can design a power supply for small radios, calculators, clocks and other devices whose consumption is not more than 50 mA. The input can be made with voltages from 9 to 15 V. The zener diode is 400 mW and the electrolytic capacitor has a working voltage of 6 V or more.
