This circuit can be used in 0,5 to 37 V Power supplies and output currents up to 3 A. The transistor 2N3055 must be mounted on a large heatsink and P1 adjusts output voltage. Input voltage is 40 V and output voltage has a maximum 2 V bellow the input voltage. The 0.1 ohm resistor is a wound wire type.
