“I put an LED lamp in my room and now I can't hear my medium wave receiver. What to do?"

LED lamps and electronic lamps have inverter circuits or switched sources in their power supply, responsible for the emission of a large amount of noise. These noises are propagated through the energy network as well as through space. An initial solution would be to try to invert the wires that feed the lamp, as it may be that the phase is responsible for the irradiation and an inversion can minimize the problem. In the past, this was done with amplifiers that picked up network noise. A second solution would be to use filters placed close to the lamp. If the radio that is affected by interference is powered by the network, the filter would be placed in its supply. For portable radios you can try to find a position where the interference is reduced.
