“I found an old kinescope reactivator in my scrap. Can I use this instrument to reactivate and test microwave magnetron valves?”

The kinescope reactivators consist of a high current and high voltage source that, applied to an old analog TV kinescope, "reactivate", that is, improve the emission so that they last a little longer. Magnetron valves have a completely different operating principle and cannot be reactivated or tested with this equipment. To measure the voltage at the magnetron valve, a multimeter high voltage probe can be used.
