This circuit of a publication from the 70's uses a different type of power that we had already suggested in a previous article in the magazine Eletrônica Popular. Two plates of different buried metals form a telluric cell capable of generating close to 1 V to supply the circuit. The coil is wound in ferrite with wire 28 and the transistor for best results must be germanium. The variable capacitor can be used from an old AM radio and the antenna must be long. The plates must be 10 x 10 to 30 x 30 cm in size with the separation shown in the figure.
