This circuit was found in a 1987 edition of the United States' Hands On Electronics magazine. The magazine no longer exists, but the circuit can be easily assembled, as the components are common. When feeding, consider that 2 V less appears on the load, which is the voltage drop in the SCR. The ICT106 can be used instead of the indicated SCR. Never use a power supply without a transformer on this circuit. To hang up, press S1 for a moment.
