This circuit was obtained in a 1991 Electronics Handbook. The publication no longer exists, but this circuit is still useful and can generate a 20 MHz signal controlled by crystal. The transistor can be BC5C548 or 2N2222 and the power must be supplied with 5 V if the circuit serves as a TTL clock. The diodes can be 1N4148.
