We found this circuit in an English publication from 1980. The maximum output current depends on the transistor. For BD136 we have a maximum current of 500 mA and for TIP31, this current reaches 2 A. The transistor must be equipped with a heat radiator and other voltages can be obtained by changing the reference components.
