This circuit is from an old publication from the 1950s. The circuit uses germanium transistors but can be adapted to operate with silicon transistors. The frequency can be changed by changing the capacitors. With the indicated values the circuit operates in the audio range. Feeding can also be done at a higher voltage. The circuit is indicated for applications in synchronization of oscilloscopes of the time.
