This circuit is from 1987 when there were only analog TVs and stereo sound was still a novelty for this type of device. The circuit makes use of an operational amplifier whose outputs must be applied to a stereo amplifier. The input is taken from the volume control on the analog TV. The power supply must be symmetrical.
