This amplifier can work with voltages between 12 and 22 V. This means that we can use it in the car, as an auxiliary amplifier or at home, as part of an economical system of high fidelity, as a booster for radios and portable recorders and even in warning and call systems. The power, for a 12 V supply, is around 6 W, being evidently much higher with 22 V supply voltage. Under the conditions of maximum power with a voltage of 12 V, the current required is approximately 1 A. This current must be observed in the design of a possible power supply for fixed operation.
