This circuit was found in a 1980 documentation. The triac used is of the TIC226D type which in the 110 V network can control loads of up to 500 W and in the 220 V network, loads of up to 1000 W. The time circuit supply must be between 15 and 13 V and the reader must use a separate source for this purpose. The timer starts operating with switch S1. When it is closed, the capacitor discharges. When opened, it will start to load until the circuit triggers with the triac shutdown. The Rx potentiometer in series with this potentiometer determines the action time of the timer. Values for this pot are between 220 k and 2.2 M.
