This circuit was obtained in a 1994 documentation and its purpose is to time the activation of a common fluorescent lamp. The times that can go from seconds to several minutes are selected by a switch according to the capacitors. The resistor R2 can be increased to values up to 2M2, obtaining with 2 200 uF times of more than one hour.
