The circuit suggested in a 2009 documentation serves as support for the technician who works in the repair of telephone sets. The following tests can be performed with it:
Phone - This test is done using two devices, the disc or the key. Switch S3 must be in position (1),
Doorbell Test - With the devices connected to the TM-1 and TM-2 jacks, the S3 switch in position 2, the phone bells should ring. Just test the bells with the handsets on the hook. Otherwise, damage to the devices may occur.
Dial test (pulse-tone) - In the case of pulses, when dialing a number, the LED will flash, and you can still hear the dialing sound through the handset. For tones, the tones generated by the keyboard can be heard on the handset.
