This simple MAT generator circuit was found in a 1986 documentation. The Q2 transistor can be replaced by a BD136 as the germanium original is not common today. This transistor, as well as the equivalent, must be mounted on a heatsink. T1 is an automobile ignition coil. With the TIP32 to Q2 the circuit will work with 12 V with greater power.
