This circuit produces a pulse train controlled by the output of a logic circuit or a microcontroller. We found it in a 1996 documentation and its supply must be made with 5 V for application as a shield. For other applications, the power can be between 3 and 12 V. The frequency of the pulse train depends on the capacitor.
