This different configuration of voltage regulator with transistors in series and in parallel was found in a French documentation from the 1980s. The input is 12 V and the output is 5 V, but these values can be changed by changing components. The output current is 200 mA (can be changed by changing the transistors) and the maximum reverse current is 200 mA. The output resistance is 20mOhm.
