This inverter can source voltages up to 400 V from a 3 to 6 V supply, but output current is very low. Some miliamperes can be sourced for bias purposes depending of the transformer used in the project. Transformers with secondary winding from 6 to 12 V and currents in the range between 100 and 300 mA can be used. P1 adjusts the circuit for better performance. The transistor must be mounted on a heatsink.
