"How do I eliminate noise from a DC motor that interferes with my stereo?"

The noise caused by the motors is due to the fast switching of the brushes. This noise can either propagate through the power grid, in which case a filter in the interfered device resolves, or through the air, in which case we can use a shield. However, it is also possible to reduce the production of this noise with a depolarized capacitor from 1 uF to 100 uF in parallel with the motor.
