"Can I use a common dimmer with triac to control the brightness of my LED lamp?"

There are circuits that excite LEDs in LED lamps that do not allow the use of dimmers. On the other hand, there are some quite simple circuits that allow its use. There are also solutions that are sources for LED strips that have an input that can be connected to a control (potentiometer or PWM digital circuit) to control the brightness. In this case, the source must not be connected to the dimmer. The dimmer must be either the potentiometer at the appropriate input or a PWM circuit. In any case, the dimmer connection should not be made without first checking whether the lamp allows it and how.
