“I've been doing projects using an Arduino kit that I bought. However, I have many old components taken advantage of from old equipment that I also kept for a long time for the practice of traditional electronics. Can I use these components with the Arduino without any problems?”

There is no difference in electrical behavior between a common discrete tubular resistor made 10 years ago and an SMD resistor of the same current value. Both have the same electrical properties. So, if the component is good, even if it's old, you can perfectly use it in a project that uses a modern board like an Arduino. If embedded in a resistor matrix, capacitors and old diodes can be perfectly used in the development of a shield or other application.
