More than once I have bought batteries that have been partially exhausted, that is, they have lasted much less than expected. It seems that the way the batteries are stored in the shops influences this. How to properly buy batteries and batteries?

Normally when properly stored batteries and batteries do not lose their charge for at least 8 months, according to most manufacturers. However, it is common for batteries to be stored improperly and thus to discharge quickly. When we buy them they are already partially, if not totally, discharged. This occurs mainly in kiosks, bakery boxes that take sun directly, thus affecting batteries and batteries. If we observe that the batteries are in a place that receives direct sunlight, we should not buy. Batteries should be stored in a dry place, in the shade and at a temperature that is not elevated. We should also note that types of batteries imported irregularly and sold in the informal trade (smuggling) usually spend a lot of time in containers, are of poor quality and are not stored properly, thus being quite doubtful as to their power supply, durability beyond toxic substances prohibited in nationally manufactured batteries. Avoid them.
