I'm putting together a mechatronics stroller but I'm not going to use a reduction for the wheels. I will put the drive wheels directly on the motor shaft for more speed. Am I right?

DC motors have high speed and low torque. If you put the wheels directly on the motor shaft, the vehicle will not have the strength for a quick start or even out of place because you need to combine torque with speed. In the plane, it may be until the vehicle reaches good speed, but it will need time for this and in a competition this is very important. That is why reduction is important. Through it you can get the best combination of torque and speed for the ideal performance of the cart.
