“I have a device that is powered by a 9 V voltage from 6 1.5 V small batteries. Would not it be better to use a 9 V battery that takes up less space?”

1.5V AA-type and even AAA batteries when connected in series provide a current greater than a 9V battery. In other words, taking into account the small current capacity of the 9V batteries, 6 small batteries will last much longer in an appliance in which they are used for food. In addition, depending on the device, the high internal resistance of a 9 V battery, ie its lower power supply capacity, may cause the unit to malfunction. This will occur mainly in the higher consumption applications such as those that carry motors. On the other hand, if there is space, replacing a 9 V battery with 6 batteries can be advantageous both in terms of cost and durability.
