This circuit serves to demonstrate the current conduction through the skin. When the sensor is touched, the circuit emits sound through a crystal or ceramic capsule. The circuit is from an English publication from 1976 but can be assembled with BC548 transistors for NPN and BC558 for PNP. The power can be between 6 and 9 V. The sensitivity adjustment is made in VR1.
