The circuit shown in the figure is a high-power version for Metronome 1, exciting an ordinary speaker. With 12 V power supply, we can have a good volume with a 10 cm speaker. The transistor must be equipped with a heat radiator. We observed that with 9 or 12 V the device's consumption is somewhat high, and the use of a source with at least 1 A of current is recommended. The frequency adjustment is made in P1 and C1 can be changed according to the frequency range to be produced.
