This circuit is from a 1975 magazine, but it is still current as all components are common. The idea is to determine the value of an electrolytic capacitor by comparison, checking the blink rate of an LED. The circuit works with electrolytics from 1 uF to 100 uF. For higher values, reduce R3. The transistor can be replaced by the BC548.
