This circuit was found in a 1973 Radio Elettronica magazine from Italy. The circuit can be assembled with a small 9 + 9 V or 12 + 12 V x 500 mA transformer at 800 mA and a primary of 110 or 220 V. The input can be from 6 to 12 V and the output is not a pure sine signal. The gain is adjusted in the pot.
