This circuit was obtained in the publication 101 Electronics Projects of 1979. The circuit can be assembled easily, since all the components are common. This receiver picks up the local medium wave stations. The transformer can be obtained from an old MW radio, as well as the coil. This coil can also be wound on a ferrite rod and formed by 80 turns of wire 28. The circuit also works with 6 V. The transistors can be BC548 for Q1 and BC558 for Q2.
