This circuit was obtained in the publication 101 Electronics Projects of 1979. The circuit can be assembled easily, since all the components are common. With this circuit we can use a flashlight as a remote-control transmitter. The flashlight will trigger the relay. The photo transistor can be of any type, Q2 a BC548 and the power depends on the relay used. Optical adds should be used to improve sensitivity.
