This circuit was published in an English magazine from 1981, but it can be easily assembled today, as all components are common. The instrument measures resistances in 5 ranges given by the selected resistors, and the current scale of a low-cost multimeter at the output can be used in place of the moving coil instrument. The ranges range from 1k to 1m full scale. R7 must be obtained experimentally according to the resistance of the instrument, having typical values that are such that the resistance of the instrument plus yours is 1k.
