This circuit was obtained in a 1978 magazine but can be easily assembled today with a BC547 transistor. What the circuit does is indicate the rotation of an old car engine that still uses platinum in the ignition system. The circuit integrates and measures the number of pulses produced by the contact breaker (CB) that depends on the engine speed.
