I found this circuit in a Popular Electronics from 1992. The circuit shows how we can modulate a lamp with an audio signal to obtain a simple link. The lamp response, however, is very poor so the circuit is only for voice communication. The receiver is CIR1734. The lamp must have a maximum current of 1 A.
