With the light falling on the LDR, the relay closes its contacts by activating a warning system. The circuit was obtained in a 1979 publication and the transistor may be the BC548. The LDR is of any type and the relay voltage depends on the voltage used in the supply. The adjustment trimpot can be 47 k ohms and the operational amplifier admits equivalent.
