This traditional direct amplification MW radio configuration was obtained in an American publication from the 1970s. The coil consists of 100 turns of wire 28 in a ferrite rod and the antenna must be long. The transistor can be the BC558 and the phone must be magnetic from 1k to 5k. For a ceramic phone, connect a 4k7 resistor in parallel. The supply can be done with voltages from 6 to 12 V. The variable capacitor can be obtained from an old MW radio that is not in use.
