The circuit shown in the figure is characterized by the existence of a current limiter based on the 2N2222 transistor. This circuit is suggested for charging small 6 V accumulators. The integrated circuit must be mounted on a small heat radiator and the load current can be modified by changing the 0.3 ohms resistor. Remember that the maximum load current allowed is 3 A.
