We found this circuit in a 1998 publication. It consists of a simple test of transistors using an oscillator with a CMOS 4011 integrated circuit. The circuit tests NPN or PNP transistors and has the status indication made by LEDs. Power can be supplied by batteries (6 V) or a 9 V battery.
