The circuit presented, from a 2005 documentation, can provide from 1 W to 2.5 W of output when powered by voltages between 4.5 V and 6 V, being ideal for bench work. The components are all common. The potentiometer P1 adjusts the volume and in S1 we can adjust the tone to lower or higher. The integrated circuit does not admit equivalent and the audio output is made in a speaker of 4 to 8 ohms. The integrated circuit does not need a heat radiator and the polarized components must have their positions observed in the assembly.
