The receiver for this circuit is CB18789E. The system operates with modulated infrared and has 4 channels in this version. The supply can be made with voltages from 5 to 12 V. With adaptations, the circuit can be used as a transmitting shield for microcontrollers. More powerful infrared LEDs can be used if in R5 it should be reduced.
