This circuit can test quartz crystals from 3.5 to 90 MHz. Its supply can be made with voltages from 8 to 12 V. The transistor T1 can be the BF494 or BF495 and the transistor T2 a BC548. When switching on the lamp, an LED in series with a 1k resistor can be used.
