The output of this signal follower is a headphone with at least 1 k ohm impedance. The power supply consists of batteries or two 9 V batteries, as it is symmetrical. It will be convenient to isolate the circuit from the DC voltages by adding a 100 nF capacitor in series with the input. The circuit is from an old 1977 documentation.
