In the figure we have a very simple trigger circuit for an SCR that powers a 12 V lamp whose current must be between 20 and 500 mA. When the pressure switch is activated momentarily, the SCR is brought to its full conduction state by feeding the lamp, which will then light and remain so until the power is momentarily turned off.
