This circuit is a handset receiver that picks up the signal emitted by a coil under the rug or elsewhere in a wireless handset system. The handset must be of high impedance (above 500 ohms) and the coil formed by at least 500 turns of thin wire in the non-metallic case of the handset itself. The transistors can be the BC548. The circuit was obtained from a 1967 magazine.
